Duplex stainless steels are playing an increasingly important role in a range of applications and particularly in the oil & gas and processing industries. Every two years the global duplex community comes together to hold high-level discussions, exchange experiences and share technical insights at the Duplex World Seminar & Summit. Following the success of the last event in Italy 2014, the 2016 Duplex World will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 12th and 13th October at CCD Congress Center of Messe Düsseldorf. Duplex stainless steels are playing an increasingly important role in a range of applications and particularly in the oil & gas and processing industries. Every two years the global duplex community comes together to hold high-level discussions, exchange experiences and share technical insights at the Duplex World Seminar & Summit. Following the success of the last event in Italy 2014, the 2016 Duplex World will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 12th and 13th October at CCD Congress Center of Messe Düsseldorf. Once again the central focus will be on the high quality Seminar consisting of lectures, workshops and master classes addressing current technical, market and application issues, while the accompanying exhibition will bring together leading producers and suppliers from around the world. All presentations and papers will be reviewed for quality by the international Steering Committee. Comprising a group of duplex experts from a wide range of backgrounds and applications, the Committee is headed by 2016 Conference Chairman Mr Babak Bahar from Kvaerner, Norway. The list of participants reads like a “Who’s Who” of the duplex community, with a strong emphasis on end users. Plant operators are sought-after dialogue partners in the exchange of experiences. Topics to be addressed during the Seminar include all aspects of the specification, use and manufacture of duplex stainless steels with a strong emphasis on practical, application-based experience.
